Jeffery Whippo, being a leadership and coaching consultant, explains his views on organizational structure. He shares that it helps in ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the organization. This happens only because every person knows what his/her responsibilities are. He believes that the structure of an organization should always be dynamic. A static and rigid structure only creates difficulties and hurdles. He further states that in a centralized structure, decisions flow from the top down, while in a decentralized structure, decision-making power is distributed among various levels of the organization.

Whippo further explains the effect of change efforts within organization. According to him, culture change is among the most difficult kinds of changes to create within an organizational system. It often involves reshaping and reimagining the core identity of the organization. A typical culture change process, if it is successful, requires many years to achieve.

Being into leadership, Jeffery D Whippo strongly believes that while some leaders understand the concepts of how to lead change, they are not able to act on that knowledge which causes their leadership to be ineffective as they make the same mistakes over and over again.
